Whether you’re seeking a relaxed family dinner, a lively gathering spot with friends, or a spot to savor hearty, satisfying meals, Toast delivers on all fronts with warmth and flair.

The menu at Toast is a celebration of home-style favorites and inventive flavors. Signature sandwiches like the Steakhouse French Dip feature thinly shaved ribeye steak paired with provolone cheese on a toasted ciabatta hoagie, served with a spicy au jus that beckons for dipping—each bite rich and indulgent. The Toast Reuben layers deli-style pastrami, tangy sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and 1000 Island dressing on toasted Black Russian bread, balancing smoky, savory, and tangy notes perfectly.

Entrees such as Mama’s Meatloaf, with its housemade blend glazed in ketchup and brown sugar, accompanied by mashed redskin potatoes and sautéed garlic green beans, epitomize comforting, soul-warming dishes that conjure a sense of nostalgia and contentment. Meanwhile, playful offerings like the Toasted Mac & Cheese showcase cavatappi noodles swimming in a luscious housemade cheese sauce topped with crispy seasoned breadcrumbs and parmesan—a cheesy indulgence that’s a crowd-pleaser.

For those seeking lighter or more adventurous bites, options like the Fried Green Beans or the uniquely flavorful Thai Chicken Wrap add bright, fresh, and lightly spiced dimensions to the menu. Come here 2 or 3 times a week and the food is outstanding. We kinda brought the egg to the jalapeño ranch burger to the menu and have only ever had one dish out of the many we've tried to not be up to par.

My husband and I tried this place for our anniversary date because we were looking for a restaurant with gluten free options for me. I have an autoimmune condition that requires me to be gluten free in order to reduce inflammation. I researched the reviews and menu and thought this would work. Unfortunately, after ordering our appetizer (chips and dip) that is labeled as gluten free, I read the tiny warning at the bottom of the menu stating that there isn’t a gluten free fryer which poses a risk for cross contamination. I understand that it may not be feasible for every restaurant to offer these accommodations but please don’t advertise that on your menu unless an item is truly gluten free. That can really affect some people’s health journey. Also, the gluten free bun that was available was not good. Very dry and it fell apart. This isn’t surprising as it’s rare to find a good gluten free bun. This didn’t affect my rating but felt I should give a heads up. (Cisco has a good gf bun if you guys decide to change it haha) I don’t usually leave reviews like this but it’s hard to find places that accommodate gluten sensitivity and it can be really discouraging when you think you found one only to realize it’s not after you get there. This is to give a heads up to anyone else with the same needs. The meat on my Ruben was great and my husband loved his French dip sandwich! The artichoke dip was overcooked and didn’t have much flavor.

Overall a good place to stop and eat at. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. We ordered the Parmesan artichoke dip with chips, chicken schnitzel, and adult grilled cheese. Great food, great service, and the atmosphere was chill!

great spot in Fallbrook - don't wait 'til noon to get lunch - Tuesday was full at 11:30 = patio seating is a + / Guinness on tap & local brews / deep bar selection - reasonable priced mostly comfort foods, the Cubano sandwich was great - Thai wrap not so much, needs more asian influence (cilantro, etc)..pnut sauce was way too thick & didn't come out with wrap, had to flag staff & wait...
